Greetings Rotarians!

Monday was World Polio Day and I want to again thank Rita and Diane for last week’s presentation and breakfast! As part of Rotary’s initiative, Governor Rickets issued a state-wide proclamation, recognizing the day in Nebraska.  Everyone should have also received various emails and videos from Rotary International, emphasizing the continued need to support the ongoing fight against polio throughout the world.  Please bring your cash/check books to our meeting tomorrow … donations are again being accepted.
 
Tomorrow, our guest speaker will be Stacey Falk, Executive Director of the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation. Stacey will update us on the Foundation’s activities, to include their recent “Bids 4 Kids” fundraiser and the 2023 scholarship application and evaluation process.
 
We need speakers for the first two weeks of November so please let Neil know if you have any ideas.  District 5650 has updated their membership “leads” list so we want to again discuss future ways in which we can attract new prospective members.
