Happy New Year fellow Rotarians!!
We will resume our Rotary Lunch Bunch meetings every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month beginning this week, January 13th at noon at Shevy’s in downtown Elkhorn. Our speakers will be Margo Riekes, Communications Director and Jeff Niebaum, Communications Specialist with the Better Business Bureau.
Our next meeting is scheduled for January 27th at noon at Sam & Louie’s Pizza in Elkhorn. Our speaker will be Elizabeth Murphy, president of Emspace Group, a communications and strategy company that focuses on communications and branding for non-profit organizations.
If you are a long range scheduler our meetings will schedule on the 2nd Wednesday each month at Shevy’s and the 4th Wednesday at Sam & Louie’s Pizza. If anyone has a speaker you would like to invite please let me know and we can get them scheduled.
If you know of anyone interested in becoming a Rotarian in our club let me know and I would be happy to meet with them and provide information about Rotary.

Thank you to Vice President of Development, John C. Glenn, for the update on the progress of the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital Omaha Campus currently under construction near Village Pointe. When completed the facility will house 110 beds focusing specifically on the areas of: brain injury, spinal cord injury, pediatric rehabilitation, stroke, neurological disease, and complex medical and pulmonary conditions. Madonna is planning to take ownership of the building in July 2016 and begin taking patients in October 2016.
