Our speaker of the day is Troy Sidders.  Troy joined the Elkhorn district in 2003 as a fourth-grade teacher at Skyline Elementary. He lives in Elkhorn with his wife, Brittany, and their three children., Troy, a Doane graduate and is currently Principal of Westridge Elementary School in the Elkhorn School District and is designated to be Principal of the New Arbor View Elementary under construction at 204th and Fort Street.    (It was noted in the meeting that this is the first elementary school since 1992 that Tod Ringenberg hasn't been involved with.

 

 

 

OTHER MEETING BUSINESS ITEMS

Jim Tomanek gave the invocation and lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.  Guest were recognized including Jim Muegge, one of our "Emeritus" members, Dave Liebentritt of Carter HVAC and Judy Cline of Suburban Rotary who was present to give a brief presentation on the forthcoming March 3 BUY THE BIG WHEEL, Omaha Metro Rotary's Networking event to be held at Champions Run.  Tables can be reserved for $75  A handout was provided.

 

Jim Tomanek discussed and coordinated volunteers for the Food Project which will be underway the 17th through the 19th of December.  (see photos in another story of some of the volunteers in action during the project
