Meeting Minutes 11/7/19 We were led in prayer and pledge by Dave Rosacker We had 15 members present. Treasurer’s report: Rita reported $5,777.83 in the general fund. Announcements/Discussion: - Holiday meeting schedule: The club will not meet on 11/28 (Thanksgiving); 12/26 (day after Christmas); or 1/2/20 (day after New Year’s Day)
- Club Christmas Party: Tod has reserved the social event room at the Elkhorn Public School Foundation building for us 6PM-8PM on the evening of December 19th. The cost is $150 and the club must provide our own food and refreshments. We will continue to work on the plan for this event.
- The club will again be ringing the Salvation Army Bell in front of Family Fare on November 25, 26 & 27. A sign-up sheet will be available soon..
Presentation: Neil Introduced Mr. Louis Hansen. Mr. Hansen served in the Army from 1944-1947 during World War II. Mr. Hansen shared stories of his experiences in the Philippines and in Japan. After the war, he went on to finish college and become a career educator, both at the high school level and eventually at the college level.
