Below are the minutes from last week's meeting (November 5th) WDC Rotary's in-person 7:00 AM meeting was held on November 5th with 14 members and Larry joining via ZOOM. President Tod called the meeting to order. Dave Rosacker provided our Opening Prayer and all joined in the Pledge of Allegiance. Treasurer's Report: Rita reported our account balance of $6,242.62 in the General Fund. She also reported that $570 was collected for the Rotary Polio initiative. Public Relations: Jim brought along the Salvation Army bell ringing schedule at Family Fare (204th & Pacific) so we can get the opportunity to share in this tradition during Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Scholarships: Mike reminded the club to save the date of 7/19/21 for the WDC Scholarship Golf fundraiser and to get that date out to others early and often. Future Speakers: 11/12 Colleen Fink, Championship Manager, US Senior Open Golf Tournament; 11/19 a speaker form StratComm will join us. Presentation: John Fech, UNL Horticulturist, shared some of his vast knowledge. He said that 2020 has seen a BIG increase in the interest of home gardening.
