Greeting Rotarians!
We will be back to having our regular 7:00 AM meeting this Thursday morning. Our guest speaker will be Ryan Lindquist, EPS Executive Director of Business Services. Next week, Rolly will be sharing his travelogue and photos from his white-water rafting trip. As previously mentioned, our 2021 golf outing was a big success and we will be receiving a budget update in the near future. As always, we are looking for speakers for upcoming meetings.

Meeting Minutes (July 15th)
Treasurer's Account:
- Overall Balance: $18,092.88 (Golf = $11,310 and Grants = $260.00); Payment to the Pines will be due next month (TBD)
- Scholarship payments are due to EPSF ($3,000) and DC West ($1,500) ... Rita to send checks
- Rotary International Dues: Semi-annual dues are $930.60 (20 members) ... Invoice to be received electronically
- District 5650 Dues Rebate: Check for $463.80 received
District Grant: We have a club obligation to raise approximately $600 for our share of the matching grant ($440 still needed). Money must be in the Grants account before we will receive funds from District
District 5650 Annual Conference: July 23rd - Family Nite at the Park (Werner Park baseball game); July 24th - Annual Conference / Business Meeting (Regency Marriott); July 24th - Family Activities at the Zoo (Henry Doorly)
Golf Outing: July 19th; Noon Check-In (with box lunch); 1:00 PM Golf Scramble; Raffle Prizes (available at the conclusion of the golfing); Volunteers have been identified; Teams = 18, Sponsors = 28

New Business / Fines: Several fines were "volunteered"!
Speaker of the Day: Sara Fjell (Assistant Principal and Activities Director - Elkhorn High). Sara provided a great program, sharing her background (Lincoln High, Doane College, Rotary Teacher of the Year at Bellevue) and discussed her current position as Elkhorn High's Activities Director / Assistant Principal. Sara's energy and enthusiasm were especially evident ... her "Servant - Leader" philosophy matches up with that of Rotary. A special thanks to Sara and best wishes for the EPS program!
