What a lot of activities we have going on right now through Rotary!  Last week was our golf outing, the District meeting is coming up July 27-28 in Lincoln, and there is a District-wide networking night at Werner Park on August 6^th (see more information below). 

Please continue to bring your items for the district drive for Magdalene House.  I’ll be taking the items on July 27^th with me to the District meeting. 

We have another opportunity for donations.  COPE is getting ready for their annual back to school backpack program.  As a group or as individuals, we can make cash donations to the cause.  As individuals, we can also donate backpacks and/or supplies.  In addition, we can help to pack the backpacks on Thursday, August 2^nd at 6pm at the COPE office.  Since the packing will be on August 2^nd, all items need to be collected by the July 26^th meeting.  Items needed are:

• Flash drives (these are really needed)
• Colored pencil sets
• Loose leaf paper, college ruled, 80 count
• Sturdy packet folders
• Washable market sets
• Wide black sharpies
• Red ink pens
• Rounded small scissors for younger students
• Gallon or quart size zip lock baggies
• Tissues
