Thanks to everyone for participating in our meeting last week ... several good ideas for our '21-22 Rotary year were discussed. Since there won't be any "Changing of the Guard" this year, we can focus on making our July 19th Golf Outing the best we have ever had. Mike has worked hard to organize the event and still needs lots of volunteer effort to recruit teams and sponsors. Along with about fifty other club Presidents and executives, I participated in last week's District 5650's annual meeting. Some clubs have been able to expand their membership during the COVID-19 year. Ideas have been presented as part of the new Public Image initiative and the District approved over $13,000 in consultant and tech support so that they can develop and provide some videos that we can share with prospective members. This week's guest speaker will be Sara Kowalik, Acupuncture and CBD Treatment professional.

May 20, 2021 Meeting

Treasurer's Balance: $5,789.25
$3,000 Invoice for our Elkhorn Scholarships has been received from the Elkhorn Foundation (to be paid TBD)
WDC Rotary Annual Membership Dues ($220) are due, as of June 1st
Proposal for a new Epson Digital Projector (PowerLite W49, WXGA - 3800 Lumens) was approved unanimously by voice vote ($1,205.36). Our request for a 50/50 Matching Grant from District 5650 is being finalized and submitted, this week. CCS Presentation Systems will be providing all materials and completing the installation.
Golf Outing: In-progress report was provided by Mike ... we currently have 13 "solid" teams identified (same as last year) and five others expected to participate. There are 25 hole sponsors (20 last year). Teams, Sponsors and Volunteers are always needed
Miscellaneous: It has been suggested that we update and re-print our WDC Rotary brochure. Followup will be required.
Fines: Neil did his normal "fine" job of extracting money from our members!
Speakers: We do not have speakers lined up for June 3rd or beyond. Please contact Neil or Tod with any ideas that you have.
