Rolly Kleeman - July 28th Speaker

Our speaker for the day was Rolly Kleeman who shared and demonstrated Tai Chi, which is an ancient Chinese Martial Arts.  Rolly explained how Tai Chi helps with with promoting harmony between body and mind. 
 
Rolly is a Tia Chi instructor at various locations, including his place of employment. He explained several elements of the activity.  Below is a chart he referred to in performing those demonstrations.
 
He handed out an information sheet on Tia Ch and related methods.

Rolly demonstrated several of the listed movements which help the trainee visualize how to move.

AIB FUND RAISER - July 29th

FUND RAISER FOR NICHOLS FAMILY/ALS

The fund raiser at AIB Bank appeared to be a big success based upon the number of hot dogs what were cooked in the AIB Executive Kitchen (see photo below).  Perhaps Dan Palmquist will have a detailed report at Thursday's meeting.
 
Rotarians in attendance included Dan, Roger and Dave adjacent to the prize drawing table (and Ron Mortensen, photographer).  Also in attendance while the I was in attendance included Jim and Judy Tomanek and Diane and Harold Johnson.  Also in attendance was Steve Nichols who was there to keep Jim Tomanek in line.
 
It is assumed that more Rotarians were in attendance later in the day.
