Greetings Rotarians! Thanks to Rolly for hosting last week's guest speaker, Mike Stodden. This week, Rolly will be providing a presentation himself, sharing his knowledge about Tai Chi. He will also lead us in some exercises so everyone come ready to participate! Wednesday evening (October 13th) is the Elkhorn Olde Town Wine Walk (5:00-9:00), hosted by the West "O" Chamber ... come join in the fun! Meeting Minutes (October 7, 2021)
Attendance: Twelve (12), plus our guest speaker, Mike Stodden (Rock Valley Physical Therapy)
Opening Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance: Dave
Treasurer's Summary:
- Overall Balance: $10,339.36; Grants Account: $23.12
- Rotary International: Second-Half Semi-Annual Dues to be paid in January 2022 (~ $930.00)
- District 5650: 2021 Annual Dues have been paid ($800.00)
District 5650: Next District President's meeting: October 18th. WDC President-Elect for 2022 is needed!
Future Meetings:
- October 21st: OPEN
- October 28th: World Polio Month Presentation (Rita and Diane)
- November 4th: OPEN
Old/New Business: Speakers needed for future meetings ... contact Neil with ideas. Salvation Army Bell-Ringing will again be conducted November 23rd & 24th (Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving) ... Jim will be coordinating the sign-up list (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM each day). COPE Christmas and Gift Card donations will again be organized by Jim

Fines (Neil): Several fines were collected
Speaker of the Day: Mike Stodden (Rock Valley Physical Therapy). Mike has merged his Stodden Physical Therapy business with that of Rock Valley. The new combined business is privately owned and will provide a variety of face-based treatments to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Their expanded business will now include some very specific niche area treatments, to include a Class IV high-powered laser, used for specialty treatments.
