Thank you to Bill Williams for speaking with us on Thursday, Oct. 20! Bill and his wife Evonne are the founders of Patriotic Productions, a 501c3 non-profit that honors military here in Nebraska and across the country. The organization is well-known for organizing honor flights for veterans to Washington DC. They have completed 10 flights so far, taking over 2,600 veterans to DC. Their last organized flights took place on June 6, 2016 and provided flights for 3 plane-loads of Vietnam Veterans. Upon returning to Omaha, over 5,000 people welcomed them back at Epply.
Bill also spoke of other projects including Remembering Our Fallen - a traveling photographic war memorial created to remember our country’s Fallen who have died in The War on Terror, and Gold Star Kids Events - opportunities to make sure their children are not forgotten either.
