 Greetings Rotarians! Thanks to our guest speaker last week, Sarah Fjell, Elkhorn High Assistant Principal and Activities Director. Sarah gave a very interesting presentation on the status of Elkhorn High (4-5% growth, 800 students this fall). She also provided some staffing updates, to include the recent hiring of a new boys basketball coach. We have three important events in the upcoming days ... - Wednesday, July 13th: DC West Food Basket Distribution at the DC West School (4:00-5:00 PM)
- Thursday, July 14th: COPE Tour ... This tour is in lieu of our regular 7:00 AM meeting. Jim Tomanek will be hosting us and providing a tour of the newly-occupied COPE facility in downtown Olde Elkhorn
- Monday, July 18th: Annual Western Douglas County Rotary Golf Outing at The Pines (Noon Registration and 1:00 PM Shotgun Start).
- Thursday, July 21st: NO Rotary meeting
- Thursday, July 28th: Regular 7:00 AM Rotary Meeting (Guest Speaker - Trevor Longe, Sports Podcaster)
Please bring your raffle tickets, pin prizes and raffle prizes and give them to Mike Ough. Also, please pay for any outstanding golf-related items.
