Greetings Rotarians and Friends of Rotary!

 

 

We welcome Larry Bock and Mark Wortman into the club!  We are excited to have you and look forward to seeing more new "recruits" join the Western Douglas County Rotary Club!  Our club's mission continues to be to support our local community's needs as well as our school systems and students to make WDC a great place to live and work!

 

 

This Thursday we look forward to a presentation from Gretchen Bren, a long-time Rotarian and member of the Downtown Omaha Club.  Gretchen currently serves as the District's End Polio Now Coordinator.  She has visited several countries and has administered vaccinations around the world.  Her inspiring presentation shows the impact that Rotary is having in this important mission.

 

Pizza for lunch will be available at the meeting this week. (Rex, thanks for arranging)

Wednesday, March 15th is the next COPE Food Pantry distribution event at DC WEST Elementary at 4:30

Coming in May (date to be announced)  Scholarship Luncheon honoring the 2023 WDC Scholarship winners.
