It’s time for the January Rotary lunch, we will be meeting on Wednesday, January 9th at noon at Shevys in downtown Elkhorn. Hope to see everyone there!
It was great to get back into our Rotary routine last week. We had a wonderful discussion with Carol Horner about Rotary International. I think we all enjoyed her story about attending the Rotary meeting in Mexico.
Based on comments I heard during and after last week’s meeting, it seems we, as a club, are interested in finding a larger project we could work on with Rotary Foundation grant funds. I would ask each of you to be thinking about this possibility and what types of projects you would be interested in.
On another note, as Mike mentioned at the meeting, start getting those business sponsors for the golf outing. Even though the outing is several months away, many businesses are planning the division of their donation budgets right now. We don’t want to be turned down because we asked too late.
