Club member Gary Weddel introduced Joe Cleary at our meeting on August 29. Joe has been coaching at WSC for 4 seasons. He is from Bismark, ND, and has been coaching for 12 years, including 8 seasons on the college level.
Joe noted he recruits good students who also excel in academics. He stated WSC is affordable plus has a great faculty. He has appreciated the faculty and community support.
Joe's team assists with various community projects including the electronic recycling and youth soccer. The April Trivia Night is a good fund raiser. He has 6 Seniors and a total of 27 students on this team this year. His "4 Pillars" include strength, effort, attitude, and selflessness.
