Darrell Miller was recently given the Rotarian of the Year award during the club's year-end celebration on August 15.  This award is voted on by fellow Rotary members.  Some of the criteria include: attending at least 60% of the meetings, not holding an elected officer position, chairing or helping with projects, or contributing to the Rotary International Foundation.  In addition to helping with most of the Rotary projects, Darrell has served in various leadership roles.  He has been Chairperson of the Administration Committee for a number of years.

One of the tasks Darrell does for our club is sending out a weekly email that summarizes our meetings. This is especially helpful for those that are unable to attend that day.  He has also chaired our Dictionary Project for years.  Over 400 were distributed by our club last year.  He has also Chaired the Administration Committee for a number of years.
