At our club meeting on May 22, Justin Raulston and Kelly Williams told us about "The Table," a new coffee shop soon to open and located at 213 Main St. (old Miss Molly's place).   Justin, as most of us know, was a pastor at Journey Christian Church and is now the lead in a Christian Campus Ministry Group that has a presence at some NE and SD colleges.  They will have that for WSC at The Table because they have found "life happens around the table," and wanted a coffee shop for students and others.  They plan to serve coffee, other drinks, pastries (made by Lisa Lenihan), salads, and sandwiches in the morning, during a long lunch period and also open in the evening.  They plan a "soft" opening in June and keep progressing toward complete hours in August.

Kelly recently sold a cafe she owned and managed in Oakland, NE for seven years plus had worked in coffee shops prior in the Sioux City area.  They were able to purchase a number of useful coffee shop items from Marcus and Lucas/Rustic Treasures that they had used in their coffee shop.  There will also be meeting areas available to various sized groups.  A nice addition to downtown Wayne!!
