Omaha Northwest Rotarians thank the Douglas County 911 Call Center staff for their service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Club members will deliver food trays to the staff of the 911 Call Center on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd. This will be the 19th year the Vocational Service Committee has organized this event and the 13th year Hy-Vee has partnered with the club. The staff working on Thanksgiving Day appreciate the food trays and the thanks expressed for their service on this holiday while others are at home with their family and friends. Club members delivering the food on Thanksgiving also have an opportunity for a tour of the 911 Call Center. Members can sign up at the noon Rotary meetings or contact the Rotary office. If you plan to participate, members will meet at 9:30 a.m. at Hy-Vee located in the southwest corner of 156th and West Maple Road inside the store near Starbuck's Coffee to pickup the food trays. Members will arrive at the 911 Call Center parking lot located at the southeast corner of 156th and West Maple Road about 9:45 - 10:00 a.m. Club members, family and friends are welcome to participate.
