Thank you to Northwest Rotarians, family and friends - Ken Backman, Matt Johnson and his wife, Carolyn, and their son and daughter, Ginger Hiscock, Grant Whitehead, Wes Galusha, Mark Hirschfeld (past club member) and his daughter, and Vickie Backman met at the Hy-Vee at 156th & Maple Street to pick-up food trays to be delivered to the Douglas County 911 Call Center on Thanksgiving Day. This was the 19th year the Vocational Service Committee has organized this event and the 13th year Hy-Vee has partnered with the club. Omaha Northwest Rotarians thank the Douglas County 911 Call Center staff for their service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The staff working on Thanksgiving Day appreciated the food trays and the thanks expressed for their service on this holiday while others are at home with their family and friends. Club members delivering the food on Thanksgiving also enjoyed a tour of the 911 Call Center.
