BRAN 38 “A Southern State of Mind Tour” will begin in Ogallala, Nebraska on June 3, 2017. Riders will check in on Saturday June 2nd. The route will follow the southern-most roads in the state. The other overnight host towns include Imperial, McCook, Alma, Red Cloud, Fairbury, and Seward. The ride will end in Ashland, Nebraska on Saturday, June 9, 2017. Riders have the option of parking a vehicle during the week of the ride in Ashland and taking a bus from Ashland to Ogallala on Saturday, June 2, 2017 for an extra fee.

We will again offer a 3, 4 or 7 day ride registration. The three day ride will be from Ogallala to Alma. Riders opting for the four day ride will start in Alma and ride to Ashland. Additional transportation back to Ashland or to Alma on Tuesday, June 5th will not be provided.

The route is half flat and half rolling hills, but it is all beautiful and scenic.  Along the way, you will be able to visit celebrated attractions such as Front Street, the Champion Mill, the home of George Norris, a home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the family home of Willa Cather and the locations she wrote of in “My Antonia”, Rock Creek Station (where Wild Bill Hickok allegedly shot his first person), and the Strategic Air Museum.
