Katie Bruno
100 Women Who Care Omaha

Katie Bruno is passionate about improving the financial lives of women and empowering them to make smart, thoughtful financial decisions. She serves a diverse group of clients but specializes in working with women who face immediate financial decisions as a result of life-changing events.

Her approach focuses on meeting clients where they are, understanding where they want to go, and creating a roadmap tailored to their unique needs. Many of her clients seek guidance after losing a spouse, being forced to retire, or going through a divorce. She helps them address critical financial questions such as whether they have enough income to support their family, if they are on track for retirement, whether their future is protected, and what types of investments or insurance they may need.

Katie believes that everyone deserves guidance from a team of professionals, regardless of the size of their assets. She emphasizes that the true value of professional advice lies in helping clients live a better, more secure life.

2025-26 Chair of the Day Schedule

We are sharing the Chair of the Day schedule for our weekly Omaha Morning Rotary meetings. This role includes welcoming the speaker, making introductions, and helping the meeting flow smoothly. Please review the schedule and note your assigned date. If you are not able to serve on your date, please arrange a swap with another member and notify the Program Committee.

Thank you for helping us keep our meetings organized, engaging, and a reflection of the strong fellowship in our club.

Congratulations to our Rotarians with Perfect Attendance
We are proud to recognize our dedicated Rotarians who have achieved perfect attendance for the 2024–2025 year! Your commitment to showing up, participating, and contributing strengthens the vibrancy of our Rotary community.

Perfect attendance reflects not just consistency, but also dedication to the values and mission of Rotary — service, fellowship, and making a positive impact in our community and beyond.

Happy Birthday Rotarians!
Governor Robert's November 2025 Message
Rotary District 5650 Rotarians—Happy November!! I hope everyone remembers to set their clock back an hour this weekend for a well-earned extra hour of sleep!!  When I was a little boy growing up on the farm I always appreciated the extra hour of sleep because I did not have to get up as early to do my chores, which included milking the Ayrshire cow. I am sure those of you who grew up on a farm, delivered the morning paper or had early morning jobs can identify with me.

I wanted to give a big shout out to every Rotary Club in our District for everything they did in October to “Unite for Good” and serve their communities and the world!!  Here is a partial listing of the events including fundraisers:
  • October 1st, 2025, Omaha Millard Rotary Dave & Arlene Steier Memorial Golf Tournament, Tiburon Golf Club

  • October 9th, 2025, Red Oak Rotary Club Chili Cookoff, Annual PolioPlus Fundraiser held at Red Oak High School. I was a judge and deciding which were the top three chili’s was extremely hard. Lucky for me, I had two other judges to help me decide.
