GM Greg Gilg
Presentation: Field Club During COVID

Greg was born and raised in private club culture in the western Nebraska town of Paxton, population 500. At age 13 he reluctantly picked up a golf club after tearing up his knee playing junior high football (late 4th quarter when the 3rd team finally got to play). A graduate of Skutt Catholic and Creighton University, Greg was part of a state championship golf team in high school which sold him on having a professional office near the first tee.

Greg is a Class A PGA Professional from the PGA of America and a Certified Club Manager from the Club Management Association of America. Club management has taken him from Council Bluffs to Kansas City to Burlington, Iowa. Greg returned to Omaha in 2017 where he is currently the General Manager at Field Club of Omaha. Greg is married to his much more intelligent and far better-looking wife Samantha who is a physician at Children’s Hospital. When not at the Club, you’ll find Greg with his family (two kids; 3-year-old boy and 1-year-old girl) at Nebraska Football or Creighton Basketball games; the epitome of a true Jaysker.
