One Week Left

Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser ends November 6, 2023

We have a great opportunity to raise funds for our club by participating in the Texas Roundhouse Fundraiser.  The Trenton Rotary will be selling Texas Roadhouse gift cards in the amounts of $10, $20 and $50.  These gift cards will be branded with the Trenton Rotary logo. 10% of those sales will go directly to the club.  We will also sell The Texas Roadhouse rolls ($8.00 per dozen) and Butter ($2.00), of which we will receive 50% of the sales.  The rolls and butter will arrive November 21, in time for Thanksgiving.

The gift cards are great for Christmas and birthday gifts or maybe a gift for your customers.  The possibilities are endless.  We will be having a Monday Meet up in January at the Texas Roadhouse, where we can also use the gift cards.

I will have order sheets available at the meeting today.  Please reach out to Paulette or myself with questions.

Thanks.

Frosty Follies

I have 18 tickets reserved for the Frosty Follies Christmas show on Saturday, December 16 in the evening.  Please let me know if you are interested in attending this fellowship event.  The tickets are $18 per person.  We are planning on going to dinner first for anyone who is interested.

Euchre Night

Mark your calendars for the Trenton Rotary Euchre night at the Westfield Center on January 30th.

Foundation Dinner Event

--Come to the Foundation Dinner Event $75 per ticket.  Includes Dinner, Open Bar and great fellowship
--Spend $75 for a ticket and round it up (to$100)  with $25 donation straight to the foundation
--Spend $75 for a ticket and add $100 to be a sustaining member
--Spend $75 for a ticket and add $1,000 to become a Paul Harris Fellow.  (please donate the money thru TRF    and then send me a copy of your donation receipt so we know to recognize you)
--You may also purchase a table of 8 and get recognition in our Program booklet for the event for $800
--Spend $75 and add the difference to your next level of giving to achieve that milestone.  If you’re not sure what that amount is, please contact Sue Goldsen sue@goldsen.com.  To make your contribution, click this link: account at https://www.rotary.org/en/donate.  You can also view your donor history by logging into your “My Rotary” account and clicking on "Foundation Reports."  If your gift puts you into any new Donor Recognition Level, your commitment to the success of the Rotary Foundation will be recognized during that dinner.  Click here for more details on Rotary Foundation Recognition Levels.
Whether you do or not, we are trying to kick our giving to the Rotary Foundation’s annual fund to the next level.   If you would make a contribution to the Foundation to get to your next milestone, it would be a huge help in attaining our goal, and you will be recognized at the dinner!
Alternatively, you can either contact your club's Rotary Foundation chair, or reply to this email with your best contact phone number and I'll reach out to you to help make your contribution.  To purchase tickets to our Foundation Dinner, just CLICK HERE!

Beautiful News

Happy Halloween everyone.  I hope everyone gets to spend some fun time tricking or treating with your loved ones. I’ll be spending time with my beautiful grandson Peter, my son and his wife.
Our beautiful club is now planning 2 of its primary fundraisers, The Wild Game Dinner and Shamrock Shenanigan. Since these are primary, I am hoping you can support these by sponsoring or giving of your time & talents. I’m hoping this year we break some records for raising funds, attendance and helping out.

Also, I am looking for a few Rotarians that can help me pack up our Birthday in a Box, which is our Local Grant for this year. Please let me know if you are interested and we can pick a date together to do that. It will only take about an hour to do it.J

The Jim Beebe & Chuck Howey Memorial Golf Outing with Allen Park, was held on Monday, June 19, 2023 and was a huge success.  Laurie Dixon presented Kim with a check for $8578 for our club!

Wild Game Dinner

All . . . attached is the flyer for the 2023 Wild Game Dinner on December 2nd. You have all been incredibly generous in the past. This is the first of several e-mails so you may as well reply now! 😊 Much like chairing the event, if you want to get out of these sponsorships, please find a replacement. 😊

We can use auction items, as well!

It looks like all our major sponsors are returning and Braylon Edwards (former NFL and U of M wide receiver) is supposed to be an excellent speaker, so please help us fill the seats. Thanks for all you do for Rotary!!!!!!

Grazie,

Mark Angellotti
