Greetings Rotarians,
We held our first ever, Great Tailgate Event fundraiser, jointly with Taylor Rotary Club, this past Wednesday. We had nearly 450 attend and we consider the event a huge success. Early numbers look like a $40,000 profit, to be divided 4 ways, half to the two childrens charities, and half to the Rotary clubs. We should make approximately $10,000 for our club! Good job to all on the committee, Rose Angela Gronda, Paulette Dillingham, Matt Hatty, and Jackie, Noel Jackson, Laurie Dixon, Mike McCullough, Kyle Stack, Ronnie Ruelle, Larry Wright, Sarah Wright, Elaine Fritz, Bill Matakus, Dave Hamilton and others from Taylor Rotary.
Come to our meeting Monday to hear about the Cookie Project from Noel Jackson.
See you then,
Laurie
