Relay for Life - May 2017

The Relay for Life of Greater Downriver was held on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Trenton Mayor and fellow Rotarian Kyle Stack welcomed the entire group before the Survivor Lap. THANKS to the Trenton Rotary for a donation to the American Cancer Society and the club name was on the event t-shirt.

Rain and serious storms forced the event to close before the Luminary Ceremony. The Luminary bags in HONOR or in MEMORY of a person affected by cancer were kept for lighting in the future.

President Laurie thanks the club for their support.

Congratulations to the following Trenton Rotary scholarship recipients: Amelia Doree, Lauryn Gibas. Anna Howey, Madison Memering, Elyssa Moody and Isabel Olds.
