RELAY for LIFE of GREATER DOWNRIVER

Young Patriot's Park on Sibley Road in Riverview

The American Cancer Society is hosting a Relay for Life event next Saturday in our area.
The Trenton Rotary Club is one of the sponsors. We hope YOU consider participating in walking and/or purchasing a luminary bag for $10.00 in HONOR or in MEMORY of a person affected by CANCER.

SURVIVORS are encouraged to come and walk a lap at noon.  The LUMINARIA ceremony at 10 pm is especially impressive with over 300 lighted bags along the walking path anchored by a display of HOPE.

Please contact Ed Shenton if you wish to purchase a bag for display at the event.

Shred Day - May 13th.

Trenton Rotary and the Trenton Civic Commission partnered for Shred It Day at the Kennedy Ice Arena parking lot this past Saturday.  Two large Shred trucks were filled with shredded materials from our community.  This event generated over $2500 in donations for the work of the Trenton Civic Commission.  The support of the City of Trenton Maintenance staff was also appreciated.

Special THANKS  to the following persons who helped unload vehicles for this project.
