Secretary's Corner

Hello Trenton Rotarians!

Your Board considered the following expenditure requests at recent board meetings:

a)The Board approved up to $600.00 for food, beverages and prizes for the club “Trivia Night” held April 27.

b)The Board approved $187.00 for a black and white advertisement in the May edition of the Trenton Tribune.

c)A $1,500.00 donation was approved to sponsor the City of Trenton “Kids Afternoon Adventures” summer program.

d)A $2,000.00 donation was approved to sponsor the DYPAC summer workshop.

e)The Board approved the purchase of a table at the Taylor Rotary “Sweet Charities – Kentucky Derby Style” fundraiser for $650.00.

f)The request to apply for and fund the beer license for the Roar on the River was approved.

g)The Board approved the purchase of new club shirts for members who requested them. New members, or members receiving their first shirt, would receive them at no charge. Members ordering an additional shirt will be required to reimburse the club for the cost of the shirt.

Upcoming Events:

Rotary International Conference is June 10 – 14 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Installation Banquet is June 22 at the Chateau on the River.
The Roar on the River is July 14 – 16 at Elizabeth Park.
