Last week Noel Jackson mentioned they were working on a school.  Here is an update on the school in Nicaragua

During our recent Rotary Dental Brigade trip to Nicaragua we visited this remote school for more than 40 children living in extreme poverty. No electricity, no running water (only a simple well) and an earthen floor. Rolando the teacher rides his motorcycle over 45 minutes on a gravel road to get to his school. He works from 7am to 1pm which is all he's paid to teach and has only one room for 1st grade to 6th grade.

Our Rotary team is making plans to build them a new school, complete with cement floor, windows, a real door and a sink to brush their teeth. Hopefully it will be completed by June. We are blessed to have support from our Rotary clubs and many friends. We are looking forward to returning next year.
