John & Kelly Allen's grandson, Michael Barina, a recipient of a Paul Harris award, and a former Second grade student of Mrs Sorenson (Chris’s wife) at Anderson school. He graduated from Blue Ridge High School in S.C. and is currently a freshman at Greenville Tech (virtually) for Graphic arts.

Born and raised in Wyandotte Michigan, a graduate of Riverview Gabriel Richard, MSU and University of Detroit. The first 22 years of my career were spent as a commercial lender with Manufacturers Bank and Old Kent. In 2003 I moved over to the investment side of the business and have spent the last 10 years affiliated with Raymond James, in late 2017 opening up Kearney Financial Services LLC as well!
I have served on the boards of Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, the Guidance Center, the Downriver YMCA, the Trenton Rotary Club, Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club along with past participation on the St. Joseph Stewardship Commission, as well as continuing to lector at St. Joseph where we have been members for 24 years.
My wife Cheryl grew up in Trenton, we have three adult children, one married, three grandchildren, and we have been married for 36 years. My office is on Riverside Drive and we reside on Grosse Ile. We enjoy golfing, cycling the trails both local and outstate, our grandchildren’s activities and all things Michigan State.

Salvation Army Christmas Project 2020
This coming week will be the fundraising mailing for the Salvation Army. We have some volunteers and could use a couple more. If interested contact me and I will know exact date and time.
We need gift cards for teens in $20-$25 range from stores teens would shop at. (Target, Amazon, Hollister, PAC Sun, Old Navy) Thanks to donations from Bob and Barb Haveman, John and Kelly Allen, Dale and Barb Malzahn, Ray and Sue Yee and Bill and Paulette. Contact me and I will pick up!
Volunteers needed to take applications for people needing assistance at Christmas November 10-December 10, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday - 9:00-11:00 and 1:00-3:00.
Volunteers to set up toy shop December 1-4. Times flexible.
Shop toy shop for parents starting December 7. Times flexible.
All takes place at the Wyandotte Salvation Army on West Jefferson.
