President's Corner
Looking forward to seeing everyone after the forced meeting closure due to voting. I am excited to see everyone and am looking forward to our speakers today from a unique veteran’s mental health group called “Step Up.”
We had an amazing distribution of Walmart goods to our grateful, loved charities and we were able to finish our Ice Cream Sundays series. So many happy ice-cream eating children and so many smiling families as they engaged with our first responders! The firehouse water spray felt especially cooling! Special thanks to Bruce Wyke for the Walmart project and to Brendan Gillespie for his great organization for the Ice Cream Sundays! I appreciate all of you!
I would like everyone to think about these three things we would like to focus on for DG Nick’s visit for September 12.
It would be wonderful to have some DisCon sign ups ready to hand to DG Nick. Several Foundation Paul Harris or Bequest society members
would be wonderful to present to him as well as having some new members to be inducted! Please ask individuals who would like to
serve and have friendships expanded!
See you all soon- Noel “88”
