President's Corner
Greetings Fellow Rotarians,
The Shamrockin’ event is a wrap. I won’t steal Kathy’s thunder but it was everything we wanted and then some. One last thank you to the committee from me and a thank you form Matt to RoseAngela and Paulette who have graciously stepped up to co-chair next year. I can’t wait.
Our Reading with Characters service project led by Matt was a resounding success. Malak did a fantastic job organizing and making sure everything went smooth. The Trenton Village Theater was packed as Matt and Chris Sorensen read to the kids while our own Captain Rotary made an appearance as well. A big thank you to John Martenson for his help during the event. Knowing how well this is attended by our community, it would be nice if we can get a bigger cast of Rotarians next year.
This week is a club assembly. We will induct a couple new members and honor a couple Paul Harris Fellows. I will provide a quick snapshot of our financial position and hopefully answer any questions that our members may have. I highly recommend jotting down any questions if you memory is anything like mine. Thanks for all you do and see you all soon!
