· Rotaractor- Devankar Mukhi request for $500 to attend Rotary Peace and Sustainability conference in Toronto while presenting to our club when he returns as well as other district 6400 clubs and help us to engage Trenton Rotaract. Mark motioned for up to $350 (since Detroit is also sponsoring $200) Dennis L. 2^nd, motion passed.

· 2018 District conference sponsorship- $1000, Val. D. motioned, Paulette 2^nd, motion passed

· 2018 1^st timers $150 stipend for Dist Conference- Will be matched by District 6400. Matt H. motioned, Mark A. 2^nd, motion approved.

Opp's it's a good thing I'm on the downward half of my year as President, Monday the speaker didn't show as expected, and then the Kids coalition against hunger didn't show for the food packaging. Oh, well lets finish the month on a bright note and have a great party this Saturday with the Wild Game Dinner, I'm looking forward to having Y'all join me for this. Also, note that Feb 5th will be the state of the city meeting, I'm hoping for a great turn out for this event.

We are not sure what happened to our Kids against Hunger supplies, but all these Interact and NHS students came out to help today! Thank you students and staff Trenton High School for your commitment to help!

Ed Shenton with his grandson, Jay Solano, a Junior at Trenton High school. Jay is a member of the Interact Club as well as playing on 3 Varsity teams. He has a 3,8 GPA. Wow!! He takes after his Grandma Alice Shenton.

Thank you to the following Rotarians who came to the Kids Against Hunger on Saturday...Ray Yee, President John Allen, Kathy Kane, Larry Kearney, Ed Shenton, Michael Doyle and Ronnie Ruelle (who was taking the picture.)

The committee is ready to kick off the 2018 Roar on the River. They held their first meeting for 2018 last week. In attendance Paul Jocks, John Broge, Matt Hatty, Bruce Diven, Brad O'Connor, President Elect Mark Angellotti, Linda Francetich and Ronnie Ruelle.
