For those that were not at last week’s meeting (and for those that were, it bears repeating!), it was reported that the club netted $15,353.58 from being the charity of choice at last month’s Mid-Summer Festival!
One last “thank you” to all who made it possible, especially Mark Angellotti who led the effort. As Mark said at the meeting, hopefully we’ll get it again, and soon – especially now that we have a complete understanding of roles and expectations.
Also, in addition to our special guest speaker State Rep Rylee Linting for this coming week’s meeting on Monday, July 20, I look forward to sharing the findings from our most recent Member Survey. Great insight was provided and while there were not too many “surprises” so to speak, some suggestions were made that I’m pleased to bring to our collective attention.
And, as a reminder, pizza will be the order of the day for lunch this coming week… I think we all agree that our new lunch schedule got off to a great start, thanks in particular to Vicki Brown!
Finally, please remember there is NO meeting on July 27 as that will be our monthly Member Engagement which will be held at Mom’s Restaurant this time. Please email Ronnie if you plan on attending.
In the meantime, I thank you all for all you do!

Exciting Lunch Update
After many months of thoughtful discussion about the future of our Rotary lunches, we’re excited to share some great news!
Beginning July 1, our club implemented a new lunch program. Members will now pay just $5 per meeting for lunch, making it an affordable way to enjoy a delicious meal while sharing fellowship with fellow Rotarians.
Our first lunch under the new program was held on July 13, and it was a tremendous success! Members enjoyed a tasty meal of chicken and beef tacos, Mexican rice, fresh salad, fruit, and cookies. It’s hard to beat a meal like that for only $5!
All members are charged only for the meetings held each month. Since there are two meetings scheduled in July, the total cost for the month is $10. The total cost through December 31, 2026 is $90, which will be added to your Rotary bill.
Each lunch will include a protein, salad, and fruit, ensuring a fresh and satisfying meal for everyone. We hope you’ll join us as we continue to strengthen our friendships and enjoy the fellowship that comes from sharing a meal together.
A HUGE thank you to Vicky Brown for coordinating the lunch calendar and to Wes Mator, Jean Wloszek, Mike Concessi, Ray Yee, Vicky Brown, Ed Nykiel, and Ronnie Ruelle for volunteering their time to serve on the Lunch Committee. Your dedication and teamwork are greatly appreciated and have helped make this exciting new program a success!
Next week's lunch is Jet's Pizza and salad!
