Shamrock Shenanigans Update

A Leprechaun ran into Santa Clause at Southland Mall this past weekend. Santa was running around to all the stores looking for the perfect small gifts because he didn't have enough for all the good adult girls and boys who still hung their stockings by the chimney.

The Irish imp said.... "Santa, the Shamrock Shenanigans raffle tickets are only $25 each and would be the lucky charm solution to your dilemma!" Santa replied, "You little Irish hooligan, that is the perfect stocking stuffer and it won't cost a pot of gold to buy"!

Bring a check or cash to the December 11 and/or 18th meetings to purchase these tickets for all your family and friends. Who wouldn't want a chance to win $250, $500, $1,000 or $2,000 cash, condo vacations and experiences!

Community Service Update

Trenton Rotary kicked off the Christmas season by supporting the Salvation Army with sponsoring a table and other Rotarians purchasing tickets for a second table at their Civic Dinner November 2. Rotarians were also instrumental in planning and working that event.

The Goodfellows received $500 from Trenton Rotary and Bill Jasman purchased gift cards for teens

Peter Poulos helped work with the $500 we donated to Trenton Police Shop with a Cop Program.

$500 went for Adopt a Child through Trenton Schools. Stacy Bazman, Gloria and Peter were our shoppers

Jean and Paulette purchased $500 worth of toys from Walmart for the Angel Tree Gift Shop done by the Salvation Army.

And of course thank you to everyone who helped with bell ringing for Salvation Army last week. Thanks to Larry for heading up!

Several Rotarians donated toys individually for the Salvation Army to help more children in need.

Rotarians generously donated personal hygiene products for the St Phillips Food Pantry at our Christmas party. Barb Malzahn gave us all a heartfelt thanks.

We had 10 Rotarians/spouses/friends volunteer on Friday to pack toys for the Angel Tree Gift Shop at the Salvation Army.

Saturday Bruce headed up the last distribution before Christmas of Walmart products for local charities. Several Rotarians came to help with this big job.

December 11th Laurie Dixon headed up a very successful blood drive for our community.

Our club does a great job of helping the community during this holiday season. Thank you to all Rotarians!

Trenton Rotary supported Shop with a Cop with Trenton police department. Walmart employees volunteered to help and wrap while police escorted the children. Peter Poulas helped with this great effort!
