Hello Rotarians,

Another great week for the Trenton Rotary! We kicked the week off with a club assembly, where we shared membership updates and discussed future events.

On Friday, we were proud to host a Euchre tournament to support the Trenton High School rowing club. A huge thank you to the following Rotarians for helping make this event a success: Rose Angela & Scott, Bill Jasman & Vickie, Bruce & Lauren Jocks, Gloria Jabro, Ed & Jean Wloszek, Bill Kaiser, Noel Jackson, and Ronnie. It was a fun evening, and we truly enjoyed meeting new friends while supporting a great cause.

Saturday was our Walmart distribution day, and it felt great to be part of an event that truly makes a difference in our community. A big thank you to all our volunteers, to Walmart for their partnership and to Bruce Wyke for organizing the distribution and coordinating our volunteers.

Last week’s Marvelous Monday recipient was Jean Wloszek. Jean stepped up during my recent procedure to ensure nothing fell through the cracks, and she generously offered to host both the Board meeting and the Spring Break meeting at her home. Jean, I truly appreciate you—thank you for everything you do for our club!

Today, we will be presenting a check to the “It’s in Your Jeans” fundraiser, which supports men’s cancer screenings. We will also hear from a doctor from Corewell who will speak on the importance of screenings for men.
