President’s Report for September 18
Hello Trenton Rotarians.
We had a great presentation from the Trenton Memorial Library. Learned about some great service that are available. Thanks to the librarians that talked to the club members.
Went to the District 6400 ONE Summit found out that Governor Rick is afraid of heights, and that he wants to have each of the clubs in the district take photos of the membership dressed is purple garb with purple pinky's (and making appropriate end polio now donations) so that the district can make a major donation to Rotary International End Polio Now campaign. Here's where it gets interesting, if enough clubs participate, Rick will go skydiving with Captain Rotary. Now, I would like to have this done for the Gov.'s visit on 23 October, oh and by the way 24 Oct.is National End Polio day. What a nice coincidence!
I will be volunteering to help with the Grosse Isle tour De Isle fund raiser, hope some of you will join me?
