Like many of you, I had the pleasure of attending DYPAC’s latest production, “All Shook Up,” this past Friday. Those of us who were there can surely agree the musical comedy was thoroughly entertaining and exceptionally well performed and executed from beginning to end. We sometimes take DYPAC’s consistently wonderful productions for granted – and we shouldn’t.
I also noticed once again how well represented the Trenton Rotary Club is at the Trenton Theater – even beyond what one might expect from our club’s support of DYPAC’s capital campaign. That visible presence got me thinking: What can each of us do to strengthen Rotary’s identity throughout our community?
Each of us can strengthen our club’s “brand recognition” and indeed Rotary’s presence in simple ways: include our Rotary logo in business ads and materials if appropriate; invite a neighbor or colleague to a meeting; share the story of a club project; look for opportunities to serve alongside other community organizations; and even simply wear our Rotary pin.
Personally, I have my own individual plan to do so…
When we are visible, engaged, and proud to explain what Rotary does, we not only enhance our brand, we help more people see how they can join us in making Trenton an even better place to live.
What can you do?
