Greetings Rotarians!

Our State of the City event last Monday, February 6th co-hosted with Trenton Business Association was a very well attended and successful.  Mayor Kyle Stack updated residents of Trenton with current plans and upcoming things in our community.  

Five Trenton Rotarians, Ronnie Ruelle, Laurie Dixon, Ruth Sebaly, Jean Wloszek, and Jane Trombley had fun supporting Woodhaven Brownstown Rotary's Pallet Painting event last Thursday evening.  We all came awaywith fun pallet, custom painted masterpieces to display! 

This coming week we have an organizational meeting on Wednesday night at 7:00pmat Savannah's for our new Rotaract club.  Any members are invited to attend.  This new, community based club is great for Trenton Rotary and gets young adults, ages 18-30 involved in Rotary.  The Club will be choosing a new community service project and first fundraiser to hold during this Rotary year!

 This coming weekend, we have our Turn Off the Violence event at the Westfield Center, Saturday, 11:00-3:00 pm. I know all help is appreciated and set up and tear down especially will go faster with more help!  Thanks to Kyle & Bill for leading this event this year!

Nina Abraham of Captains Headquarters was congratulated by TBA President Krishelle Kohler and State Representatives Coleman Young Jr.  Darrin Camilleri presented a proclaimation from the State of Michigan.
