Hello Rotarians,
It is bittersweet as I preside over my final meeting as President of the Trenton Rotary Club.
It’s hard to believe this year has come to an end. When I agreed to serve as President for a second time, I thought I knew what to expect. What I didn’t realize was how many unexpected challenges lay ahead.
As the months passed, I learned an important lesson: there is no challenge Rotarians cannot face together. When the Westfield Center remained unavailable longer than expected, we adapted. When we launched our new Spring Break fundraiser, members stepped forward with enthusiasm and determination. Time and again, people volunteered their time and talents, reminding me of the strength of this club.
Together, we accomplished so much. Spring Break exceeded expectations and generated over $33,000 in profit to support our community. Super Kids Day brought smiles to countless children. The Boogie Banquet celebrated fellowship and fun. We welcomed new members, supported meaningful causes, and continued making a difference in the lives of others.
This year was more difficult than I imagined, but it also became one of the most meaningful of my life. Through every challenge and success, I was reminded that Rotary is more than an organization—you are family.
I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to our Board of Directors. Your leadership, dedication, and commitment were instrumental to everything we accomplished this year. Thank you for your service and for always putting the needs of our club first.
As I close this chapter, my heart is filled with gratitude. Thank you for your friendship, support, and belief in me. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your President.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping make this year not only successful, but truly unforgettable.
