THS Robotics Program

We have completed the Robotics project for 2025.  Each year the THS robotics team (TorqueNados) need field objects constructed that are aligned to the unique game of the year.

This year included 3 objects that Paul, Brendan and myself constructed for them.  They were :

1.) Ramp (it serves as a speed bump on the field)

2.) Structure for the hopper:  they shoot palm sized foam balls at the hopper that sits on top of this 5’ high structure.

3.) Frame to practice climbing.  - the robot can climb 3 different levels to score points.

Here are a few pictures of the things we built for them.

And for anyone interested to learn more about the game for this year, check out this video. https://youtu.be/_fybREErgyM

P.s.  once the team starts to use them to practice , I’ll send over some videos of them being used.  (A few weeks away)

The Team will be competing  locally at the Woodhaven district event on March 14 &15. Details can be found at https://frc-events.firstinspires.org/2026/MIBRO.  All robotic events are free to attend.

Thank You,
Ed Neubecker

Great news!!
Effective March 2nd, we will be back at the Westfield Center

Hello Rotarians!!

Just a reminder — there is no noon meeting tomorrow.

Instead, we’ll be hosting our 2nd Evening Social Night at Malek Al-Kabob on West Road. There’s still time to sign up — just let me know if you’re planning to attend. It’s always a great opportunity for fellowship, laughter, and delicious food!

🌟 Great news! We will be returning to the Westfield Center on March 2. It will be wonderful to get back to our normal routine and gather in our familiar space.

Also, the Spring Break Committee will be meeting at Bill Jasman’s home, 2655 Longmeadow, Trenton. It’s not too late to jump in and be part of the fun — we’d love to have you!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing Boujee Committee — Peter Poulos, Mike McCullough, Rose Angela Gronda, Kathy Kane, and Ronnie Ruelle. Special thanks as well to Krista Schafer, Sherry McCullough, and Bryan Morgan for greeting and seating our guests. The evening was a tremendous success, and all the hard work truly paid off!

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night at Malek Al-Kabob!

Yours in Rotary,

Ronnie
