Dr. Mike Concessi presented very interesting information about his chiropractic profession.

Michelle Sorensen was one of 25 teachers honored at Teacher Appreciation Night at the THS hockey game on Jan 18.

Pictured L-R are Michelle Sorensen - Anderson Elementary teacher, Cam Blanton - THS hockey senior, and Rebecca Lowe - THS teacher. Cam stated Mrs. Sorensen and Mrs. Lowe had the biggest impact on his academic success and he was honored to have them wear his jersey.

President's Corner

Hello Rotary Friends,

This past Tuesday evening was the District President’s mid-year review. What a pleasure it is to represent our great club and be around all of the other Presidents who keep the bar set awfully high. I am both proud and humbled to be a part of this group.

Tuesday night the planning continued for our St. Paddy’s themed Shamrockin’ on the River. Check out our Facebook page, catch the fever and make sure to Like and Share. This is the easiest and fastest way to spread the word. See Jean for raffle tickets and Rose Angela for tickets to the event! Be there or you will be green with envy. (Couldn’t resist that one.)

Noel has returned safely from Ghana. The need there is high as this one dentist office serves over 200,000 people. Keep an eye open for how you can help with our District’s plan to expand the Dental clinic there. After seeing approximately 150 patients in 3.5 days he returns seemingly more energized than tired! I hope the entire district is ready for his year as DG.

It may be tough to think about the summer and having fun on the water but we still need quite a few volunteers for the Roar. Our club, and this committee needs YOU! Invite your friends and neighbors next Monday for our annual State of the City address. Stay warm and drive safe as it appears Mother Nature has some plans in store for us tonight and tomorrow.

PE Matt Hatty accepts a theme tie from PRID Mike McCullough on behalf of RI President Elect Mark Malone . "Rotary Connects the World" will be the theme for Matt and Mike in 2019-2020. The theme was revealed at the International Assembly training in San Diego. Congrats!

Thank you to Dr Noel Jackson for representing the Trenton Rotary on the dental mission to Ghana. We appreciate all you do to make the world a better place!
