Today we'll hear from local business owner, Peter Rose, who will talk to us about the "leverage of shopping local".  Welcome, Peter!

Thank you to Wes for sharing his heartfelt thoughts and personal stories about why the Rotary Foundation is important to him.  Today we'll hear from Paul Jocks in his Foundation Spotlight.

Also, in honor of Foundation Month, Tom Dickman announced at last week's meeting that the Howey Foundation has offered up to $5,000 to match donations made by our members to the Rotary International Foundation, up to $500 per member!  Please see Tom soon if you're interested in participating.  Thank you to Chuck, John and the Howey Foundation for their continued generosity!

We had a nice Rotary After Hours this past Wednesday with a good discussion about possible service projects and some other fun topics!  Thanks to Jean, Paulette, Matt, Kathy and Mike Concessi for attending.  The next one will be on Wednesday, December 3rd at Fratello's so mark your calendars.

The Trenton Educational Foundation 4th Annual Signature Event took place on Friday, November 7th and it went very well!  The food from the Rhapsody was tasty and the hall at St Paul's was nicely decorated and full of guests!  There were too many Rotarians there to mention but thanks to those who attended and supported this group!  Great job to chairperson, Noel!

Thank you to Bill Jasman, and to any others, for helping the Interact Club on Saturday to pack food at the Trenton Food Pantry!  It's always good to help this group out and make sure Trenton residents who need help can turn to the food pantry.

Our club is sponsoring four Trenton High School students attending RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) this coming weekend.  We hope they have a great time and learn some valuable tips on leadership!

Tuesday, November 11th, is Veteran's Day.  Please remember to thank a veteran for his or her service to our country.

Have a great week!
