Over our 114 years, Rotary members have created access to education, empowered communities, pushed polio to the brink of eradication and improved lives around the world.
In August 1910, Rotarian's gathered in Chicago for their first national convention. The existing 16 clubs unified as the National Association of Rotary Clubs and elected Rotary founder #PaulPHarris as the organization's #FirstPresident. Harris served two terms – the only president to do so.
The presidents of Rotary International are elected for one-year terms and must have served as a club president, district governor, and member of the RI Board of Directors. In addition to leadership experience, RI presidents bring a commitment to Service Above Self as well as the culture and pride of their home club and region.

President's Corner
Greetings fellow Rotarians,
It was a light Rotary week for me as I snuck out of town for some much needed warmth. Returning to this cold and wind already has me looking forward to my next trip!
Although Janet and I missed the meeting we know the Shamrockin’ Committee is prepared to knock it out of the park for us. There are so many ways you can help, sell or buy a raffle ticket, sponsor or come to the event and/or donate or regift and bottle of booze! Every little bit helps.
For those who are so inclined, please catch up with Bill Jasman to see how close you are to a Paul Harris Fellow. What a great way to to support not only our club but our District and the Foundation as well. Thanks to those of you who do.
