Another fantastic week in Rotary!
On Monday, we had the opportunity to learn about the Trenton High School Robotics Team. Their innovation, dedication, and passion were truly impressive. We were proud to support their efforts with a $500 donation to help purchase essential supplies for their program.
We also presented Krista from Open Book Theatre with a $500 check to support the arts in our downriver community. It’s always meaningful to invest in organizations that enrich and inspire others.
A huge thank you to Paul Frost for leading our tree planting service project, and to Wes Mator for assisting with the planting of two memorial trees in honor of Kyle Stack and Paulette Dillingham. These moments are a powerful reminder of the lasting impact Rotary has in our community.

Tree Planting

The tree planting was a big success. We planted trees at both the small end parks at Cherry and Elm Street off of Riverside Drive in TRENTON. We planted 13 trees of various species. The rain the night before added to the degree of difficulty but we prevailed. Much thanks to Wes Mator, Ed Nykiel, Bill Jasman and Vicky Brown for their help. Of course we couldn’t have done it without Russ Foster and his crew from the city. TRENTON Rotary’s has partnered with the city to plant trees in public spaces around the city for many years. The fruits of our labor can be seen in virtually every park and public building space in TRENTON. Trenton Rotary’s commitment to planting trees has created a lasting legacy that will be enjoyed by Generations to come.
