The Interact Club's Vibrant Activities and Ongoing Success

The Interact Club, dedicated to community service and fostering positive change, attends monthly meetings. During these regular gatherings, members come together to discuss upcoming initiatives and collaborate on various projects aimed at making a meaningful impact in our community. This consistent schedule not only provides a structured framework for planning and organizing events but also strengthens the sense of camaraderie among members as they work towards their shared goals.

As we reflect on recent events, the Interact Club continues to thrive, making a positive impact in our community and across the world. Here’s a recap of our successful events:

Successful Events Recap:

9/13/2023 - Westfield Grandparents’ Day Ice Cream Social: A sweet start to our fall activities, bringing joy to the seniors in our community.

9/15/2023 - TEF Tailgate Setup/Breakdown: We collaborated seamlessly for a successful Tailgate event, showcasing our teamwork and dedication.

9/23/2023 - Victory Day Food Collection for St. Philips Food Pantry: Over 17 volunteers! A heartfelt effort to support those in need, emphasizing the spirit of giving. We managed to collect over 8 boxes of essential food items. Each item represented a gesture of kindness and solidarity, echoing our commitment to supporting St. Philips Food Pantry's mission to alleviate hunger.

10/6-7/2023 - Westfield Center Halloween Walk: A spooktacular event that brought the community together for a weekend of fun and laughter. Many students volunteered and experienced a community coming together to enjoy the arts and witness the exceptional talent showcased by DYPAC at its finest.

10/2023 Halloween Bags for Children's Hospital: Our Interact Club embarked on a heartwarming initiative to create Halloween Bags for the Children's Hospital, aiming to bring joy and comfort to young patients during the festive season. As part of this thoughtful gesture, our members generously donated a variety of items, including coloring books, crayons, and stuffed animals.

10/23 – 11/10/2023 - Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes: Interacts International Project by packing love, joy, and toys into boxes destined for children worldwide during the holiday season.

11/11/2023 - Boy Scout Collection/Food Drive Sorting: Partnering with the Boy Scouts for a meaningful contribution to St. Philips Food Pantry.

11/18/2023 - Goodfellows Food Drive: A door-to-door collection and delivery of envelopes, demonstrating our commitment to making a difference.

11/18/2023 - Kennedy Ice Arena Military Appreciation: Collecting funds to show our appreciation for the brave men and women in the military.

12/2/2023 - Trenton Christmas Parade: Walking alongside elementary students and the school bus, spreading holiday cheer throughout the community.

Shamrock Shenanigans Update

Our next Shamrock Committee Meeting is on Tuesday, February 13th at 6:30pm (note new time) at Noel's office. We look forward to your attendance and the reporting on your sponsorships, raffle ticket sales and event ticket sales progress. Sponsorships should be close to finalized so that Kathy has time to assemble the program before the printer deadline. Crunch time is upon us!!!

To all Rotarians....Please push raffle ticket and event ticket sales. This party is going to be awesome with all of you participating.
