Hello Rotarians,
It’s hard to believe Christmas is already behind us and we are welcoming in 2026! We are heading into a very busy time with many great events coming up.
Friday, January 9 – Euchre Tournament
This fun night supports the Trenton High School Rowing Team. As Deanna Blevins shared with us a few weeks ago, this fundraiser is critical to help the team attend their spring training camp. Please consider joining in for a great evening while supporting our rowers.
Monday, January 26 – Social Night with the 6:01 Group
Our first social night of the year will be held at Buffalo Wild Wings on West Road. Thank you to Scott Haveman for coordinating this event. More details to follow.
Reminder: There will be no noon meeting that day.
Saturday, January 31 – Super Kids Day
We have received confirmation that we can once again hold this event at the Westfield Center. I am looking for volunteers to help with set-up, calling bingo, serving lunch, and clean-up. Please let me know if I can count on you to assist with this special day.
Thursday, February 12 – Boujee Banquet

Spring Break Fundraiser - March 21
Our next major fundraiser is right around the corner. We can always use more helping hands on the committee, so please consider getting involved.
Meeting Location Update
We will return to the Westfield Center in mid-February. Since we will still be meeting at Truago earlier in the month, we will have a meeting on January 19.
Marvelous Monday
This week’s well-deserved recipient is Val Dzagulones. Val was the driving force behind our Christmas party—organizing the food, creating the centerpieces and decorations, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Even after being surprised with a cruise and unable to attend, Val had everything prepared and ready to go.
Val, thank you so much for everything you did for me and our fellow Rotarians. You truly are the BEST!

Trenton Rotary Christmas Party
We had 23 donors! Rotary members (and family) who gave (or tried to!) include Vicki Brown, Krista Schafer, Joanie Barnett, Dee Mator, Mark Angelloti, Rose Angela Gronda, Bruce Wyke, Bruce Jocks, and Ray Yee.
We got off to a slow start with some missing Red Cross equipment and to reschedule some
folks, but once everything arrived we had a nice steady flow of donors. Thanks to all who came!! And special thanks to Donna and Sacred Heart for letting us use their space this year!!
