As President Laurie’s year heads toward completion, remember that we still have several worthwhile projects that we can use your help and participation in. From “Rockin’ the ‘D’ Downriver” to “Reading with the Characters” to “Relay for Life,” we all need to do our part. The “Rockin’ the ‘D’” committee members have been, well ROCK STARS!!! This year’s event should prove to be another smash hit! “Reading with the Characters” is a worthwhile project that helps show the kids that reading is awesome at any age! And I think we all know the importance of “Relay for Life!” Please make it a point to be an active participant in one or all of these events.
