Born in Wyandotte raised in Trenton, went through Trenton Public Schools, and graduated in 1974.
Attended Western Michigan University studied Business Finance and Economics and graduated in 1978. This is where I met my wife Mari.
My first job out of college was in Frankenmuth Michigan where I pursued eating chicken dinners, insurance underwriting and Mari.
Mari and I were married during our time in Frankenmuth.
A life changing event happened in 1982 when I decided to purchase my family’s small insurance agency in Wyandotte and personally move back to Trenton. In 1994 I moved my office to Trenton and in 2014 retired from the insurance business. I currently am a manager of real estate.
I have been involved in Trenton city committees and commissions which include the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Commission. I have also been involved with the Trenton Educational Foundation, the DownRiver Waterfront Conservancy.
My father and mother were great examples and encouraged my community involvement. That is why I joined Trenton Rotary. I consider it to be one of the best things I have done in life.
Mari and I have two children who have given us a total of three grandchildren: two boys and a girl all under the age of six.
My hobbies include wood turning, both shooting and coaching of Sporting Clays, bird hunting, fly fishing and keeping up with Mari and my grandkids.
