Greetings Trenton Rotarians!

The week started out full of energy as we discussed many upcoming projects at our weekly meeting. We have a concert at the Dearborn Symphony Orchestra, the Children's Fun Fair, the Blood Drive, the Sham-Rockin' on the River and the Red Wings fund raiser. Not to mention the State of the City this week and Hedke Award processing. This club is in high gear right now. Keep up the good work!

Jim Perry from the Downriver Community Conference spoke with us at our meeting regarding the projects that the DCC is involved with. This group is a true example of what can be accomplished when we all work together.

The week ended on a sad note with the passing of Mike Concessi's mom. Please keep Mike and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Join us at Monday's meeting for the State of the City address being delivered by Trenton Mayor Steven Rzeppa. We are asking that all members be there before 11:30 since activities are scheduled to start at 11:45.

Continue to do the right thing in all of your efforts. Your actions will truly connect the world if you live by the Rotary motto "Service Above Self."

Arthurs Middle School Career Day

Never underestimate your power to inspire a young mind!

Arthurs Middle School in Trenton hosts Career Day on March 13. Kids need to hear from a wide variety of occupations as they make school and career choices and prepare for the next phase of life. It's an easy and fun way to give back to the community.

Arthurs Middle School is once again hosting our annual Career Day for our 7th graders. It will be on Friday, March 13, 2020 in the afternoon (11:30-3:00). I am looking for enthusiastic speakers and hoping you will consider coming back to present or present for the first time. Please let me know if you will be available to attend this year. If you are unable to present this year, please feel free to give out my email address to others whom you think would be a great addition to our speakers. I will be providing more information as March approaches.
