We started the week by inducting two new members — Sherri Gramlich, sponsored by Kathy Kane, and Mariah, sponsored by Mike McCullough. Welcome to Rotary, Sherri and Mariah Gillespie-Sullivan! We are excited to have you join our Rotary family.

We also had the honor of presenting Rob Bovitz with a Paul Harris Fellow +6 recognition. Congratulations, Rob, and thank you for your continued dedication and generosity to Rotary.

Our blood drive also took place on Monday — be sure to check out the article with all the details and results from this important community event.  A HUGE thank you to Joanie and Krista for chairing this very critical service project!

Saturday was Walmart Distribution Day, and it was incredible to see the large number of items distributed to local charities throughout our community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this project such a success.

A reminder that our Installation Dinner will be held on June 4th. Please RSVP to Peter if you plan to attend.

On Tuesday, June 30th, we will have the opportunity to “Meet the Governor” in Harrow. I’ll be sending out an email with registration information soon. This is a great opportunity to hear District Governor-Elect Kim Spirou share her vision for the upcoming Rotary year.

Peter will be leading Monday’s meeting discussion. Please come prepared to share your thoughts on future lunches and service projects you would like to see our club pursue. Unfortunately, I have a prior commitment and will not be able to attend.

Also, please remember there will be no meeting on May 25th. Have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend!
